How does Google Adsense for Bloger Works?

Google AdSense is fully integrated with Blogger: You can easily sign up and create ad units within Blogger itself by clicking on the "Earnings" tab in your dashboard. After sign up, you designate where you want the ads to show and they'll deliver them once your application has been approved. How AdSense serves ads on your blogs: AdSense works by matching text and image ads to your blog, based on your content and visitors. Ads are created and paid for by advertisers who want to promote their products.
What is Adsense? Google Adsense is a CPC (cost-per-click) advertising program that allows publishers (anyone wanting to put ads on their websites) to insert a small amount of HTML into their sites and have ads appear that are targetted and relevant to the content of the site.
The good news is that Adsense is about the easiest way for bloggers or webmasters to start making money with their sites. After installing the ad code in your site, the Adsense spiders will crawl your site to see what all your pages are about. They then check their inventory of ads and put related ads next to each of your articles. This works out well for everyone as someone reading an article on gardening is much more likely to buy gardening tools than someone who is reading an article about car tires.
If you need more check out Google’s article: What is Google Adsense?

How does Adsense Work (for publishers)?

So, how does Google Adsense work? It starts with the advertisers who choose which keywords they would like to advertise on. Let’s suppose I want to advertise my new line of gardening tools that I just created. I would bid on certain keywords like “gardening, gardening tools, tillers, pulling weeds, etc”
The Adsense spiders would then match my ads up with :
  1. Those specific keywords that people type into Google and display them to the top and right of the search results
  2. Websites (like yours) that display adsense ads.
The adsense folks will send out Robots to crawl your site to see what all your content is about. If they find that you have content that has some of the same keywords that I (as the advertiser bid for) then my ads will show up on your site next to your article about gardening tools.

How to choose a domain name

Today I want to talk with about the
choice of the domain name, and
how your domain can trap you down
the road if you don't choose it
carefully. ------ Choosing a good domain name for your
blog or website is vital. Why?
Because the domain name is the corner
stone of your online brand.
People will link to your site using your
domain, your search engine results will contain your domain
and so on. One common mistake people make
when choosing a domain, however, is
to only consider the short term. That is,
they figure what their
website will look like for the next three
or four months, and they buy a domain name around that idea. Let's
suppose that a guy loves the
Corvette cars, and he decides
to start a blog on that topic. After
researching for a while he
purchases the domain
CorvetteCentral.com. It is a good domain,
because it is short, descriptive, it has the
main keywords in it and
so on. The blog grows healthily, but after one
year it reaches a plateau.
The guy realizes that in order to make
the blog grow further he
would need to start covering other
sport cars, and not only the Corvette. Guess what... too late! He is
already trapped with his
domain. At this point his choices are
either to keep writing about
Corvettes and accept the fact that his
audience will be limited to fans of that car, or buy a new domain
and start from scratch. I have been in that position myself, and
it is not cool. If you don't want to get trapped by
your domain, you must plan
ahead. Ask yourself how far you can take a
website with the domain you own
or are planning to purchase. What
limitations does it have? Creating niche websites is not a bad
idea per se, but you must be
aware that they have limited potential. If
you want to create a
business out of your website or blog,
then the domain name must not limit you to a small niche or market
segment. Going back to the example above, a
better domain would be
SportsCarsCentral.com or mysportscar.com.
